Community groups
Adopter community groups
We are pleased as a service to support several community groups where adoptive parents can come together to share experiences, connect with other adoptive families and support one another.
Nottinghamshire community group
We were delighted to launch our Nottinghamshire community group in June 2026. We hope that this will continue to grow into a friendly, supportive space, offering opportunities to connect and build networks with others.
Our next group will take place on Saturday, 3 October 2026. Everyone is welcome! You can register for this using the link in the flyer.

High Peak community group
For those living in the north of our region, our High Peak community group could be for you!
Launched in 2025, this group is going from strength to strength and is a great opportunity to meet other adoptive families and have fun together. The venue also has a skate and play park available for any children attending.
For further details and upcoming dates, please email the group organiser at letennant@gmail.com.

Transracial support group
Our transracial support group is for adoptive parents who are a parent to a young person from a different racial, ethnic or cultural background.
Our aim is to provide a welcoming space to explore identity, race and culture in parenting, build community among families, share resources and stories and celebrate diverse experiences.
If you feel this group is for you, it would be great to see you there. The next date will be Tuesday, 15 September at 6.3pm online. You can register for this using the link in the flyer.
