Multi-Disciplinary Team Vacancies

We have a couple of exciting vacancies within our multi-disciplinary team!

We are looking to recruit another youth worker to a new and exciting project being undertaken by Adoption East Midlands to develop a multi-disciplinary team. This role will involve working with partner agencies, such as education, health, and social care workers. A key part of the role is to support young people in a trauma informed way and with a youth work approach. 

The youth worker will work in a strength-based way and aim to make a real difference to the lives of children and young people adopted and their families. They will be expected to work creatively as part of a team to develop the youth offer within AEM, and to participate in the wider role of the AEM strategic multi-disciplinary group.

This will be an extremely rewarding opportunity to be part of a creative project. The successful candidate will receive regular supervision, training and the opportunity to develop skills alongside working within a friendly and mutually supportive staff group.

We are also looking for an enthusiastic team orientated social work support officer, who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills and can build effective working relationships with adoptive parents and colleagues alike. This is an integral role within a new and exciting area of Adoption East Midlands whilst we create a Centre of Excellence.

This specific role will be offering valuable day to day support to a multi-disciplinary team including social workers, youth workers, speech and language therapists amongst others. We are looking for someone who can be flexible, multi-task, work to deadlines, are able, on occasions to work outside office hours and undertake work in the community when needed.
