Measles Mumps and Rubella National Incident

As an agency involved with young and vulnerable children we are aware of the significant impact illness and infections can have.

Recently there have been concerns regarding the increase in measles infections and the decline in the uptake of the Measles Mumps and Rubella (MMR) vaccinations.  The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) has now declared a national incident.

In response to the national incident agencies are being asked to raise awareness about measles infections and ensuring that families we are working with have information around the MMR vaccine.

More information is contained within the documents attached to this news item.  Please take the time to read these and for more information on MMR vaccine visit the NHS website.
