Adopter Voice Forums June and July 2022

Adopter Voice are facilitating two further exciting on-line focus forums in June and July 2022 for those who have been approved to adopt in the last three years. This is another great opportunity to share experiences, knowledge and ideas within a safe environment, without judgement or bias, and help shape and improve adoption services across England. We want to encourage adoptive parents in our region to take part.
Forum 3 will focus on what Adopters need and how Social Workers can provide the best relationship support during the early days of adoption. This forum will take place via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 30 June 2022 at 7.30pm. Booking closes on Tuesday 28 June at 9am. Please follow the Eventbrite link to book.
Forum 4 will look to review different types of support needed during Recruitment and Assessment. This will take place on Thursday 7 July 2022 at 7.30pm via Microsoft Teams. Booking closes on Tuesday 5 July at 9am and you can book via the Eventbrite link.
Adopter Voice is an impartial service, used to share your lived experience and to ensure your family is at the heart of influencing and involvement to direct the future planning of adoption support. Bringing the experiences of adopters together can form a stronger alliance that is able to inform decision and policy makers, creating a better life for adopted children and their families.
