Climate Action

Adoption East Midlands are proud to be supporting the efforts of our host Local Authority, Nottinghamshire County Council, to reduce our collective carbon footprint. We are committed to reducing our environmental impact whilst maintaining quality services. This includes carbon literacy training for our staff, rethinking when and how we travel, and our use of paper.
We are also working alongside the other three local authorities we represent to achieve their climate action targets to work towards the UK goal of reaching net xero carbon emissions by 2050.
