Exciting opportunities to take part in two up-coming Adopter Voice forums

The National Adoption Recruitment Steering Group with the Regional Adoption Agencies (RAA) Leaders and CVAA (Council for Voluntary Adoption Agencies) are inviting adopters to help them to deliver the best possible adoption services; to improve things that matter the most and to find solutions that work.

In order to hear from a diverse range of adopters they have asked Adopter Voice to facilitate several on-line focus forums covering different aspects of adoption. This is an exciting opportunity to share experiences, knowledge and ideas within a safe environment, without judgement or bias, and help shape and improve adoption services across England.

The first forum will focus on the journey through the adoption assessment and approval process and the quality of preparation and support received during this phase of this journey and what might help to improve this.  If you have been approved to adopt within the last 3 years please make the most of this opportunity to share your experience.  This forum will take place via Microsoft Teams on Thursday 28 April 2022 at 7.30pm.  Please follow the Eventbrite link to book.

The second forum will focus on adoption support services, particularly the quality and breadth of available support in local RAA's.  If you have accessed adoption support within the last 3 years please join this forum on Thursday 12 May 2022 at 7.30pm.  This forum will also take place via Microsoft Teams and you can book via the Eventbrite link.

We would encourage as many adoptive families as possible to take part in these forums.
